    Default Firefox googlebar disabled

Since installation of ZA/forcefield I have lost the ability to use the googlebar addon in firefox. It doesn't show the search buttons (google search, local search, image search etc.) It lets me type in the text entry box, but even pressing 'enter' won't perform the search. I went into the firefox addons box and accessed the googlebar options there to see if they had been adjusted and saw that the search selections appeared to be doubled up (the choices had the same choices next to the original instead of a checkbox) so I clicked on one and it then showed a checkbox (with a check in it.) I checked all of the options that I wanted and enabled them to no avail. In the firefox 'view/toolbars' menu there is not even an option to show/hide googlebar. Other toolbars are there (that should be) but no googlebar. Does anyone have any workaround or fix for this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry that your experiencing a compatbility problem with Forcefield and FireFox..

It would help us better Diagnose your problem if we new more about your:

    1.) computer, Memory, CPU etc..
2.) what version and update of Windows filly Updated?
3.) is this just the Stand Alone ForceField?
4.) Do you also have a Version of ZoneAlarm and what update installed?
5.) or some other Security programs installed?
6.) what version of FireFox and what Upgrade?

It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country, without All the Details, without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

If you would Describe your Computer Setup/Windows OS Version and Version of Zone Alarm that you are having a problem with
and what difficulty you are having, and what Previous Version of ZA and Norton, McAfee or other Security programs that you have installed,
there are several very knowledgeable Volunteer Participants willing to help you try solving your problem with Zone Alarm..
