    Default antivirus/spyware update issues

    Hi, I'm new. I have been running zonealarm for 3 years now and have never been able to connect with the update server. I have been on the phone with support for at least 12 hour total and they have never solved the problem.

    Is there any way to install the definition catalog manually? I've been trying but cannot find the or catalog.xml file in the program files.

    If you been trying that long to get AV updates to work by now it probably an issues with your PC.

    Just sounds like ZA will not work with your particular PC after 3 years of trying to resolve Av updates and never getting them.

    We don't have the ability to do manually updates. I would highly suggest for the security of your system you try some other AV that will work on your particular system.

    This is not the norm but after so long and the number of hours you spent with support and still not working I can say 100% ZA wont work on your particular system.
