Default URLZone trojan: are we protected?

This one sound particularly insidious. Has it been incorporated into the virus/spyware definitions yet?

    Fax,

Unfortunately I was only going by what the popular news media outlets are calling it, including CNET. It's a banking trojan based on the LuckySploit trojan toolset that went live in August '09 and that's been traced to thefts in bank user accounts via online banking transactions in Germany, using a vulnerability found in Firefox, IE (6/7/8) and Opera via Javascript. To date its payload is only active with Windows-based computers. A security firm called Finjan has been tracking it; during a 22-day span in August they we able to attribute the theft of $438,000 US via this piece of malware through the infection of 6400 computers.

A link to the CNET article is below:

Question Re: URLZone trojan: are we protected?

This one is worrying me too since I do some of my financials on-line. Couldn't find it at the site Fax recommended so the question still remains: are we protected against this threat by ZASSX?

I see also in the article that it mentions "LuckySploit" that URLZone uses to do its dirty work. Anyone know if ZA protects against that?

    Hi!
yes, it does. All major public malware are obviously covered and now a week has passed since the first infection.

    Cheers,
