    Default Extreme security update fails

    I have this morning tried to download and install the new update for extreme security.
    IE reports that the file has an incorrect signature.
    I have downloaded it twice to check against download problems.

    When trying to install it i get the following messages...

    Installer failed to initialize. Please try to download and run the installer again.

    Could not load the DLL library
    .....\local\temp\10020981923\vsutil.dll
    (Is64Bit) The specified procedure could not be found.

    I am running Vista 64bit.

    I am having the same problem, except that I'm running Vista 32 bit. The first message I get says the installation failed & to download it again (which I did). Then I get the same error message as the first poster.

    Redownloaded it today and it worked however the a/v part failed to install properly and it took me several tries at install and a dozen reboots to get it all working again.

    It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country,
    without All the Details about your computer and Software that you failed to provide, without our ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

    Give the Exact Type and version of Zone Alarm used,
    Windows Version and SP updates used, other security tools installed.
    is this a First time install?
    Stopped working recently? other issues? Error messages in the ZA logs?

    The More information you post the more likely users here will be able to understand the issue and try to help.

    also is this a DeskTop, Laptop computer or Netbook.

    Please List any other Security Programs installed as these programs may be conflicting with Zone Alarm.
