    Default New version ZAXS-kills keyboard

Downloaded new version of ZA Extreme (9...114), installed OK, except if you touch any key (including NUMLOCK) on the keyboard, the system immediately restarts. System works OK in safe mode.
Only other security item running if Spybot's Teatimer. I hate to kill Teatimer unless absolutely necessary.
Added-XP PRO, SP3, regularly sweep with MalwareBytes (seems clean).
    Thanks Bill

    Hi!
if you start the PC only with ZA and standard OS system, does it work?

    Do this:

    1.) Click Start -> Run
2.) Type MSConfig in the run box and click OK
3.) Once in MSConfig, click the Startup Tab
4.) Remove the checks from everything except ZLClient
    5.) Click the Services Tab
6.) Place a check in "Hide All Microsoft Services"
7.) Now remove checks from everything other than TrueVector Internet
Monitor and ForceField (if present), and click OK.
    8.) Restart your computer

    How does it work?

NOTE: You can place your computer back into a normal startup process by
going back into msconfig and choosing the Normal Startup option on the
    General tab.

    Cheers,

Also in the ForceField browser security settings try turning off the anti-keyboard logging function and reboot your pc to see if that helps.

The problem seems to be in the ZoneAlarm ISWSVC service module. After much disable, restart, crash, disable etc including replacing the keyboard, disabling that service resolved the problem. Risk level running without that service on?? ZA does not complain but does not start Forcefield (simply says 'starting'). Forcefield does not give me any options to disable anything.
    Thanks

If you don't want or Need all the features provided with ZA Extrem, then It is Better to Downgrade to ZA Security Suite or ZA Pro, rather than Install ZAES and Try Shuting down the Features that you don't want..

Not an issue of want/need features, ZAX was working just fine until 114 update. I will put it on one of my other licensed machines and see if the problem is unique to this machine. I can always uninstall and revert to the previous version

    Hi!
ZA is fully tested on standard OS installation. It must be something other than MS OS been installed including ad-hoc add-ons in branded PCs (DELL, LENOVO, TOSHIBA, ACER, Etc).

Typically are keyscrambler, stardock software, finger print recognition, HD defrag, other security tools, etc...
