Default ZA Pro version query and upgrade problem

I'm running ZA Pro 8.0.298 under Windows XP. Today I received a prompt to upgrade to 8.0.400, so I downloaded it and tried to install. I received an error asking me to stop the True Vector service and restart the install. But the service was already stopped, and there was no option to restart. Eventually I managed a brute force uninstall and reverted to 8.0.298.

Two questions, please, if anyone can help?

    1. What's the current version of ZA Pro? On this board, I see references to version 9 - but the program only offered me version 8?

    2. What's the cause of the True Vector error? Have other people installed 8.0.400 without problems?

    Thanks

Found a link to download 9.0.114, which installed OK - although Windows Security Center now says ZAPro is turned off (yes, I've seen the sticky, and I'll report the issue to Microsoft if I can find out how to contact them)

So original query is fixed - although I'm still puzzled that ZAPro didn't offer me 9.0.114

Thanks, fax. No disrespect to the utility, but my first choice is simple steps rather than a "black box" - so that I can reverse it if it goes wrong. I managed to reset WSC by pausing the WMI service, renaming C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\REpository, restarting the service, waiting a few minutes and rebooting. But I do appreciate your help.

Yes, great. The tool does the same.
I am closing this thread since the issue is resolved.
