Default Blue screen of death on update

I updated to Internet Security 9.0.114 and now after I see the XP startup screen, I then get the blue screen of death. I had no problems prior to the update. I am running XP SP 3 and have Adaware, Firefox and ITunes applications. I had same problem when I loaded 9.0.112 but 8.0 works fine. Any ideas other than going back to 8.0 would be appreciated.

    Hi!

please report to ZA technical support (link in my signature) so that your issue is logged and eventually troubleshooted and escalated. ZA support may then give you the old link to version 8, tough better to run something else than using an old security tool.

Please note that ZA does not play nice with many other security tools. They may block its correct functioning including updates. For example, spyware doctor, spysweeper, trojan hunter, win patrol, PCtools Threat Fire, Mcafee, Norton, Symantec, Adaware, SpybotS&D, WinPatrol, AVG, Avast free, NOD, Kaspersky, Comodo, Rising, PC Doctor, MS OneCare and many others. If you want to troubleshoot issues with ZA please remove these tools (not enough to disable) and install back (if you really need) only after you see your ZA is working as it should. Double check you have really removed all other security tools by running this utility.

    Cheers,

Booted in safe mode, then uninstalled 9.0.114 and rebootrd fine. Then uninstalled Adaware and rebootrd. Next reinstalled 9.0.114 and rebootrd and once again blue screen so started over. This is getting tiresome so I am reinstalling 8.0 which works fine. I'm almost at the end of my license. Maybe it's about time to pack it in. I am beginning to wonder how well these updates are beta tested. Any one have any suggestions short of uninstalling and reinstalling all of my application software to isolate the conflict?

If your installing Internet Security Suite 9.0.114

Here is my two cents worth of advise..

NOTICE: Please note that ZASS and ZAXS do not play nice with many overlapping security tools (even if disabled).

To troubleshoot ZASS/ZAXS issues removethe other Security programs and re-install them once you see that ZA works as it should.

For example,Norton/Symantec, McAfee,AVG, Spyspweeper, Spyware Doctor, trojan hunter, adware, SpyBotSearch & Destroy, PC tools Threat Fire, any other Anti-virus, Anti-spyware, Registry Guard or locking tools, etc...
