Thread: clear the virtual data

    Default clear the virtual data

Below is my folder that contains ISW, .STATE, and .SECT files:
    C:\Documents and Settings\[my login name]\Application Data\#ISW.FS#\Normal

Each time I clear the virtual data, the size of that folder toggles back and forth between 35MB and then 44MBytes. Since there are 287 files and many file dates, I'd expect that more file space would be returned after cleaning.

Anyone know if some of those files can be safely manually deleted?

Unless you have a specific reason to delete them, no. Leave those files alone, forcefield may not function properly.

    thanks,
It seems that some recently added Favorites got rearranged after clearing the virtual data. If that continues to happen after clearing the virtual data, it could be a real nuisance.

Maybe that happened because I stopped toggling the CLEAR after reducing the folder size to the lower number.

    Hi!
Turned OFF forcefield --> rearrange your favorites at your wish --> Turn ON forcefield --> empty the virtual data

Position of bookmarks could get reset if you rearrange bookmarks while your forcefiled is ON and then reset.
