Default srescan missing in internet security

I recently upgraded one of my computers to the most recent internet security pacage- 9.
    0.114 I think.

in my task manager i see the task vsdatnt but not srescan, which I am also used to seeing.
Does that mean I did a bad install and need to correct it or is it supposed to be gone.

On my other computer, which has extreme security it is still there by the way.

I run winxpsp3 if it matters.

    Many thanks.
