    Default Anti-Spam is gone

I have lost my Anti-Spam SonicWall splash screen/scan when I open Outlook Express on XP Pro.

It doesn't automatically move the messages.

I still have the toolbar at the top that has Junk/Unjunk/ZoneAlarm Options/0 junk detected today.

If I make a message as Spam, it is moved correctly.

I tried to shut off the E-mail protection in the setup and then turning back on, but still doesn't work.

I have upgraded several times since it stopped working.

    Operating System: Windows XP Pro
EMail: Outlook Express (with multiple identities)
Product Name: ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite 9.0.112.000
    AntiSpam version: 6.0.0.2383

It sounds like a Corrupted ZASS Configuation Database..

    A.) try Reseting your Database..

ZA has incorparated a new way to Reset DataBase files so users don't need to go into Safe mode.

To repair this problem, please follow the steps below. Please note that
this will remove your program permission settings (so you may want to make
note of them), but re-establishing them is a simple process.

1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock in the system tray lower right corner
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

B.) you may also want to UPdate ZASS to the Current 9.0.114.000

    http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...seHistory.html

The simplest procedure is to :

1.Download the Latest installer preferably with IE Browser and no Download Manager/accelerator like Get-Right, Livewire, Bit-Torrent) and save it to your Hard drive.

I tried the reset. No change.

I tried the upgrade to 9.0.114.000. No change.

I uninstalled, went into Safe-Mode, deleted folders and registry entries.
Then I did a fresh install of 9.0.114.000.
The SonicWall dialog came up the first time I went into OE and asked if I wanted to create a list, I said Yes.
Now it doesn't show up anymore.

Since doing the fresh install, it has asked 4 times about my home network.

The only thing I did since the fresh install was to add additional Zones into the firewall, for my work access.
