Thread: New ZA Install Prompts Norton "At Risk"

    Unhappy New ZA Install Prompts Norton "At Risk"

    I installed the new ZA Pro 9.0.114.000 this morning and now Norton System Works has a red X in the system tray that I cannot remove.

    Norton say that I have Advance Firewall protection turned off and need to turn it on. How?

    Windows Firewall in the Windows Security Center is checked ON.

    ZA Pro Firewall Security green box is checked.

    How can I remove the red X in NSW?

    1.) you have Conflict between too many security Programs..
    2.) you can ONLY have One Firewall and One Anti-Virus program installed..

    a.) you can Only have One Firewall turned ON..
    If you Install any ZoneAlarm Product..
    Windows Firewall must Be turned OFF..

    b.) if your Norton product included any kind of Firewall protection, you must eith Uninstall it or Uninstall ZoneAlarm..

    This same thing is happening to me --- yet all of my other firewalls are turned off. I just have the new ZA and Norton. Any other solutions?

    Report to Norton. They need to update their software to recognise the new ZA.
