Thread: Can't uncheck "Load ZA Pro at startup"

    Default Can't uncheck "Load ZA Pro at startup"

    I must have had a corrupt upgrade of ZA Pro from Ver. 8 to Ver. 9.
    Current installed version is:
    ZoneAlarm Pro version:9.0.114.000
    TrueVector version:9.0.114.000
    Driver version:9.0.114.000

    As per other posts in this forum and per Live Support Chat I should uninstall the current version using the new removal tool and then do a clean install.
    It was also suggested here by GeorgeV to uncheck "Load ZA Pro at startup" in Overview> Prefs> general and reboot before the removal. However, ZA doesn't let me uncheck.
    Is it crucial? When I close ZA Pro I don't see vsmon.exe running as an active task.

    System is Win XP Pro SP3 (updated.)
    Other security apps: Winpatrol, Avira AntiVir, Win Def, Ad-Aware.
