Thread: LogMeIn keyboard mapping

    Default LogMeIn keyboard mapping

I have ZA Extreme Security v9.0.114

It has just switch from Learning Mode to Full Security.
Now when I access my other PC remotely using LogMeIn Pro the keys just type completely random characters, the same key even produces a different character every time I press it. If I switch off ZA at both ends then all works normally.

Does anyone know what setting on ZA do I need to change back so that the keyboard mapping is not interfered with?

As it happens I have ZA on both PCs - do I need to change on both?

    Hi!

try to update to ZAX 9.1 or turn off the keylogger protection in ZA forcefield (web browser security --> settings --> advanced). A reboot may be needed.

    Hello,

I have recently upgraded ZA to xtreme v9.0.114.000 on two machines using XP Media Center SP3. Several times a month I have found the keyboard mapping to be scrambled on both machines. Resetting the keyboard by unplugging and replugging, does not solve the issue. I found a thread by searching for keyboard mapping issue and ZA extreme is starting to look like the common element. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...f-08ac1a1b1764

Has any one else been seeing this problem besides the one above?

I am not using any remote access, and if my screen has gone to lock when it happens, a system reset is the only way out as you cannot enter your password accurately.

looking for 9.1 but since this doesn't seem to be widespread, I doubt it was identified.

    Hi Gerry,

Fax doesn't seem to be online at the moment.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not sure that XP Media Centre is supported for ZAX. Please see system requirements here....

    Hi!
yes, MCE is not officially supported. It has been reported several times in here that there are issues with the keylogger protection in ZA forcefield. Uncheck the antikeylogger option and you will be fine.

    Report to ZA support.

    I agree with Guru Fax;

Here is Additional information of Windows OS not supported by ZoneAlarm.

Does ZoneAlarm support Windows Server 2003?
    Answer
    Solution:
ZoneAlarm does not support ZoneAlarm installations on servers operating systems at this time.
ZoneAlarm was designed specifically for client applications on an endpoint machine.
