Question Turn ON/OFF Windows Defender? > or uninstall Zone Alarm

Anyone know if I should turn Windows Defender ON or OFF? I'm on Windows 7 and already have ZAX installed. So is Windows Defender still necessary?

NO, If you have ZA Extreme Security 9.1.008.000 installed, you do not need Windows Defender turned ON..

ZAX is designed to live peacefully with windows defender in VISTA or windows 7 granted you keep it at default levels. So you can keep it "ON" if you want.

The same does NOT apply for many other security tool that do not play nice with ZAX.

It is a benefit ... don't you think?
If you think not, disable windows defender.

If you want to run windows firewall you need to turn off ZA.

    Simple

P.S. pretty sure you will come back with: but why ZA does turn OFF windows firewall then ? Response: because they have not been designed to work together. But why? Answer --> Ask ZA developer. Firewalls are usually acting deep in the system and it is difficult to design firewalls to run together. But why? ooooooooooh ^%$^$^%^%..LOL
