Question Desktop Zone Alarm Upgrade Caused Boot Up Crash

Windows XP, can't help with the ZA upgrade version number as can't see the download on the PC.

I've recently updated the PC from the ZA website

Shut down the PC and now it will not boot up.

Gets past Windows Sign In then reverts back to re-power / reboot

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

    Simon

    Hi!
boot in SAFE MODE and remove ZA.

If you are running a Toshiba or ACER PC then search on this board for workaround. Running stardock software? Please remove it

If you have a valid license please report the issue to the ZA technical support at the link in my signature.

You may want to disable all non-microsoft services/programs at boot and try to install again.

If you will post back please remember to detail what you have already done to resolved the problem.

    Cheers,

Thank you Fax, I have removed the latest update from the safe mode and tried to re-install with no success and have now reverted to my old file of 80.0298.0035.

Windows starts up fine, and have informed Tech Support.

Now I can't update spyware or anti virus through Zone Alarm. Tech support have also been informed.

    regards

    Simon
