    Default Trouble with Browser

    Recently I have been unable at times to open my homepage or after it is open to open not able to open a second or third web page. I get messages "web page could not be displayed" or "invalid address". I have two pcs that connect through my router and if I go to thee second pc it opes all the web pages immediately , so it does not appear to be internet connection. If I shut down ZA completelt, then the pc that wasn't connecting to web pages works ok. I have no idea what has happened as I have za on both my pc's.

    Hi!
    probably corrupted or incorrect ZA settings.

    Try to remove and install latest version (9.1) and not load any previous back up.

    Thanks for counsel on providing more information when I post. My operating system is windows XP SP3. Zone Alarm extreme security 9.0.114,tru vector 9.0.114. IE7.

    Hi!
    please update to ZA Extreme version 9.1, you are using an old build.
    When asked choose a clean install (no upgrade, keeping previous settings).

    This will ensure you start fresh and exclude possible corruptions.

    Thanks for the info on updating. I have ZA extreme security on both my pc's. Update automatically is the setting on both. However, neither pc has 9.1 on it--only 9.0.114. I have 135 days left on current subscription. Any idea on why ZA hasen't just updated itself to vertsion 9.1? What should I do to get 9.1? Thanks.

    sorry, this depends on ZA central servers. You may want to ask them (link to ZA support in my signature).
