    Unhappy Virtualiztion stop/slows internet connection

When I enable virtualization, firefox is really slow and IE is so slow it's completely unuseable. Both IE and firefox work great without virtualization turned on. I've cleared virtual data and this doesn't help. Any ideas?

OS: XP Pro with SP 3.
    Zone Alarm: Extreme Security

    Load times with virtualization on:
    Home page with IE: http://www.google.com
Load time for home page: 7 minutes.
Navigation time from home page to http://www.msn.com: 4 1/2 minutes
Naviagiton tiime from msn.com to http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp: 6 minutes

With the information you have provided no body can read your mind. Please provide the following so users can address your issue.

Detail information of issue or screenshot

    Your OS : XP SP 2-3 / Vista SP1-2 / Windows 7

Right click on ZoneAlarm icon on System tray by the clock and click About.Click Copy to Clipboard and then OK.After entering text to message panel, on your keyboard enter key combinations Ctrl + V to paste to message ZoneAlarm Version.

With what little information you provided you are running ZAES or ForceField version (standalone).

In the mean time you could try to Clear virtual data.

Question Re: Virtualiztion stop/slows internet connection

    Hi There

Since completing the instruction to Enable Virtualization, I have experienced similar problems, (ie. Slow running, and other niggles).

I have carried out instructions as listed below in this Forum.

    How to Reset IE :

    Close all browsers
    Open ZoneAlarm
    Click Browser Security / Settings
    Click Advanced tab
Clear virtual data and click okay
Now turn Browser Security off and follow these steps here

Click Start / Control Panel / Internet Options
Click Delete / Delete Temporary Internet Files
    Security (Tab) / Default Level
Advanced (Tab) / Restore advanced settings

    Including complete reinstall.

Everthing seemed OK, even after I rebooted, but after running a scan it all went wrong again.

Even some of my Toolbars disappear after rebooting.

    I am running Windows 7
    Intel Dual core duo

Below is a snapshot of ZA information.

    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security version:9.1.008.000
    TrueVector version:9.1.008.000
    Driver version:9.1.008.000
    Anti-virus engine version:8.0.2.42
    Anti-virus signature DAT file version:998154912
    AntiSpam version:6.0.0.2385
    ZoneAlarm ForceField 1.5.53.4
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Scanner 1.5.53.58
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Anti-Phishing Database 1.2.104.0
ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Sites Database 04.020

    Please help!

    Regards
