    Cool Packed.Win32.Krap.ag.

    Howz It,

last night ZASS detected a Packed.Win32.Krap.ag. virus

I am assuming it is a legitimate virus.ZA quarantined it and claims it is safe at this point.

I did some research on Google and every site suggested removal. My question is, since ZA has it quarantine, need I worry about it or should I try and remove it?I have not noticed any problems after quarantine...Would it be a good idea to delete it?

    Sky Soldiers,

Mahalo for your quick response, but my question was is it necessary to do a malware clean up if ZA has Packed.Win32.Krap.ag. in quarantine.Za claims my computer is safe at this point.

I am running 8.0.289.035 and I really don't want to update to 9.1.008.000 if I don't need to,I'm not happy about the loss of cache cleaner and mail frontier

No, necessary to do a malware clean up at this point.

I would suggest to first seek confirmation from the first link.To make sure it's not a false detection.

Just a suggestion. If I was you I would update to the most current version of ZoneAlarm. But that's up to you.
