Default False Positives on PHP Files

I've been getting false positives on PHP files and it's quarantining files that I need for development. How can this be fixed?

Since you don't say which ZA product or release you are using, I'm going to assume either Security Suite or Extreme, release 9.1.

You can add particular file types to exclude from scanning under Advanced Options>Exceptions>Add in the anti-virus / anti-spyware section, like this:

Yes, it's Extreme Security 9.1. I may have to exclude PHP files as you suggest.

But I'm wondering about trying to correct the false positives. Is there a way to submit files for analysis? The help file says:

"You can send names of suspected false positive detections to spywarefeedback@checkpoint.com."

but when I sent an email to that address it bounced back.

Ah-ha, I wasn't clear that you were looking to report a false positive in your original post.

It looks like you just dropped the dash from the email address:

    http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en...onealarm.htm#4

    spyware-feedback@checkpoint.com

    Give that a try.

    Thanks for the email address.

FYI, it's incorrect in the help file.

False positives in ZA version 9 (only) need to be reported to Kaspersky.
Link to instructions have been already given by Sky Soldiers.
