Default I want to turn off the download function

This thing is a pain in the butt. It interferes with my download function in Firefox. It requires that the browser remain open. I was downloading from a Beta site today. Many gigs of new beta portions. The site kept logging me out. I couldn't close the browser because the dang thing would tell me that closing the browser would stop the downloads. Never had that problem before. Looking at the software for Force field it's a turn the whole thing off or turn nothing off.

Sorry, in order to provide relevent advise for your Windows OS and Type of ZoneAlarm, we need more information from you..

It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country,
without All the Details, without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

Whenever posting here- it is always advisable to list your:OS (XP SP 2-3 / Vista SP1-2 / Windows 7), your zonealarm product and it's version number , Brand of Computer and CPU.
