Thread: Compatibility question

    Default Compatibility question

I have W7 installed. When I apply ZoneAlarm (v. 9.1.008.000) rules to some browser that restrict internet access and then run this browser, the whole system hangs up. Why? Is it because there is still no ZoneAlarm version fully compatible with W7? In fact, there is no official ZoneAlarm version released after October, 22.

So should I wait for new version release where expert rule bugs will be fixed?

ZoneAlarm internet suite(v. 9.1.008.000) works fine with me with windows 7, but for it to work properly I would recommend to put the installer on a usb drive and install it from there (otherwise you will get a error stating it needs vista sp1 to install).
I have had no problems installing ZA like this.
