Default Protection is up, UI initializing

I am running Extreme Security and have been for several months without an issue. I recently applied the latest "Fix that did not require a reboot" and have now noticed that I get "Protection is up, UI initializing" when I hover the mouse over the "Z" icon. I can not bring up ZA at all now either by right clicking or double clicking the icon nor by going into "Programs" and trying to run ZA. I also notice that the icon is always a "Z" and never shows internet traffic.

Because I can't bring up ZA I can't uncheck the "Load ZA .... at startup".

How do I fix this issue?????

On September 15th, 2009, 09:22 AM you were using the following : Windows XP SP2.Is this you're current OS.

If this is the case you might have to use the following :

I need to completely remove ZoneAlarm, or there are remnants of ZoneAlarm on my system

I cannot find or run the ZoneAlarm uninstall program (XP/2000)

Also if XP SP2 is current you to need to update your OS to XP SP3.You need to read both threads at the following link :
