Thread: tvDebug.log file, size too big

  1. #1
    marco_nospy Guest

Default tvDebug.log file, size too big

With ZA Pro and ZA tool bar, tvDebug.log file can reach 500 MB before zipping.

PLEASE, stop to be crazy to use so much my hard disk for generally unuseable features. Then :
+ add option to limit the size of tvDebug.log file
+ add option to not save zip of previous state

    Thanks to be user friendly.

(Windows XP SP3 - ZA Pro 9.1.008.000 + ZA ToolBar)

marco_nospy, A few of us have had this issue, you can stop the debug from growing by turning it off. Hit Ctrl/Shift and right click on the ZA icon , click on set debug level and click the off button and reboot . Hope they fix this issue in the next update.

Unfortunately, "HOPE" does not get Computer Bugs fixed..

A program feature only gets fixed or changed, if it is Reported enough times Directly to Tech support with details about what problems it is causing..

tasman, If you read his post carefully.

marco_nospy is asking Forum Users to do the following :

PLEASE, stop to be crazy to use so much my hard disk for generally unuseable features. Then :
+ add option to limit the size of tvDebug.log file
+ add option to not save zip of previous state

Impossible for us to do.That's why I refer him to Support.

Thumbs up Re: tvDebug.log file, size too big

Sky Soldiers, I new that is what he was asking, just wanted to let him know that there was a way to stop it until it was fixed. I saw that you did refer him to support and that is why I didn't.
You have a great day also

    I agree with SkySoldiers advice..

Also, I was not Slaming you..

In your Reponce to "marco_nospy" you did not suggest that he report the Problem to Checkpoint, or that you had Reported the problem yourself..

that is why I said that "You Hope they Fix it" is not helpful, as Tech support and Customer support do not read this Forum..

    Have a Nice day..

I did not suggest "marco_nospy" report it because Sky Soldiers had allready did that. I will have to choose my words more carefully form now on.

Have a good night and a happy new years
