Default New ZA free 9: any need to upgrade?

Currently I use ZA free version 8.0.065.00 an two computers. OS XP SP3

Is there any need or recommendation to upgrade to new free ZA Version 9?

As I understand the new features are Win7 support and a new explorer toolbar that I do not need.

I had difficulties on both computer when I tried to upgrade to the last version ZA free 8.0.298. On both computers the Windows Security center did not recognize ZA free.

Because I am quite content with the version installed I`d like to keep it.

    Thanks for advice.

to the Zone Alarm User Forum..

1.) if you were using one of the Paid Versions of Zone Alarm, I would Definately Upgrade to 9.1.. However, since You are Happy with the ZA Free version 8.0.298 on your Windows XP SP3..

2.) as long as you Keep WinXP Sp3 Updated with MicroSoft Critical Updates, and Keep your Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware programs Updated,
You should be OK for now..

    Have a Nice day..
