    Default ForceField definition

What is ForceField? Recently installed 9.1.008.000 and SP3 on my XP Home.

In "My Documents" it lists "Forcefield Shared Files" and it is empty.

My only browser is IE. Is ForceField something I need?

I have checked this forum, but couldn't come up with an answer.

Off the subject, but can I delete the ZA set-up icon on my desktop? The ZASS seems to be working fine.

ForceField is a product which comes with ZoneAlarm Extreme Security 2010, and provides virtualized browsing so that bad sites cannot infect your PC. Even if you only have ZoneAlarm Suite, you still get components of ForceField, although I assume they are not active.

You can delete the ZA set-up icon on your desktop.

If using a download manager.Download to the "ForceField Shared Files" located in "C:\Users\username\Documents\ForceField Shared Files" (for VISTA) or C:\Document and Settings\username\MyDocuments\ForceField Shared Files" (in XP).

If you manually initiate the download files yourself, you are able to change the location to save them.

No Virtualization feature in the Browser Security Toolbar.Only in full ForceField in the standalone version and Browser Security in ZoneAlarm Extreme Security.

Not all ZA products have all of FF's features (like Virtualization). Here is a link which shows the breakdown.
