Default Has Zonealarm relinquished spware scanning to the kasperky engine!

    Hi Guys,

Have zonelabs stopped building their own anti spyware definitions, and now exclusively rely on the kaspersky engine to deal with spyware in version 9.

They say they have integrated virus and spyware into one engine for v9
But looking at v8 spyware definitions they haven't gone up in a while.
And they have not said that they have combined the kaspersky engine with their own engine, just that the engine deals with spyware and viruses, making me think they have given up on their own spyware engine (or plan to phase it out) and will now focus only on the kaspersky engine to do both ,which is most likely to be cheaper and give them the speed boost they needed. That's what I think they have done, since merging 2 engines would slow v9 down a lot, and would take a lot to make it on access to match the kasperky engine.

Does anyone know, or have any idea? What are your ideas?
