    Thumbs up malware cleanup suggestions

A few months back I couldn't get ZA or malwarebytes to find a trogen even though I had taken all the steps listed in this dicussion forum.

I had to uninstall ZA before MB could find the trogen and treat it.

This might be an added step in the future. Just sayin.

Sorry, We are all Usera here in this User Forum..

ZA official support is the only one able to log, troubleshoot and eventually escalate the issue if not resolved. It is however essential you follow all their suggestions and keep coming back to them is they do not resolve the issue.

Also Please Note that ZA staff does not monitor this board. We are all users in here.

Thanks but this is not generally needed and cannot really be set as a Guideline. Next time you have such problem just run MBAM but in SAFE MODE.
Thank you again for the suggestion.

Like I said before, I tried all the steps suggested on this forum to include safe mode scanning and neither MB or ZA would treat this trogen.

When all else fails I try my own sollutions and uninstalled ZA. Then scanned using MB and MB found the trogen and treated it.

I'm not anythings wrong with ZA. But there might have been a conflict between MB and ZA.

I don't care if you add my solution as a guideline or not but us common folk using ZA ought to know all the solutions that can be applied to getting rid of trogens.

    Sorry if I offended anyone.

Probably a coincidence or a bad/corrupted setting in ZA blocking MBAM. There are no issues between ZA and MBAM free. For retail versions, components of MBAM may need to be set as SuperTrusted in the ZA program control and excluded from the ZA antivirus to allow full control to MBAM. This is commonly needed for any complementary security tools not just ZA or MBAM.
