    Question Virus: Exploit.JS.Aurora.a

    Hello:

Is anyone familiar with this virus, and whether this might be a false positive?

    Exploit.JS.Aurora.a

It failed repair, quarantine, and deletion. I asked ZA to delete on reboot, and seems to not show when I scanned after a reboot. It was first detected as on-access scan.

Nothing shows when I click on "More Info" in the AV logs.

Is there anything further I ought to do about this?

    Log entry below:

    Thanks in advance:

    Question Re: Virus: Exploit.JS.Aurora.a

    Thanks Fax:

I'm up to date with MS patches. ZASS AV and AS scans came out clean. Can I assume there's nothing further I need do?

As for False Positive possibility, I can't upload that file to virus total since it apparently was located in the IE TIF which was cleared.

Are you sure the link you gave me to Operation Aurora corresponds to the :

    Exploit.JS.Aurora.a

which was found in the on-access scan?

Seems like it might be something different...

    Thanks again
