Default I think ive caught something...

Hey all, first post here. Hope you can help.
I have a Toshiba Satellite, XP, nothing extraordinary.
I am running ZoneAlarm Security Suite (v9.1.8 i think), all up to date.

Earlier in the week i was scrolling through a forum when the zonealarm warning message came up from the tool tray telling me it had blocked something (i dont tend to pay much attention to what it says unfortunately) and then a few mins later it said that something was attempting to turn all items in startup off.
I went into msconfig to check and everything was fine, i hit the update button on ZA and ran a full anti virus/anti spyware scan and it found two things which it deleted.
The next time i fired up the laptop the next day, all of my login details for forums and sites had cleared, and everything was running slowly.

I have noticed Task manager showing "56.tmp" and "64.tmp" running which i have shut down with no effect. I seem to recall ZA warning me of a random number .tmp the previous day when the problems started. Ive googled the two and nothing seems to be showing up. Ive searched my system and theyre sat in C:/Windows/Temp
Not tried deleting everything in there yet, but ive done disk cleanups and full scans with ZA Security Suite, as well as Malwarebytes' anti malware software (which ive had success with before) and they both came up with malicious stuff and claimed to have deleted.

The machine is still running very slowly though and appears to be blocking cookies making me relog in to sites.
Im still carrying out scans daily, no luck so far. Ill let you know what it comes up with having found when its finished the current one (40% through atm, i have a lot of stuff on here )

Anyone know what this thing is?
    Any help appreciated

Hey, cheers for the heads up.

I did an ultra deep scan and it came up with the following:

    Trojan.Win32.Fregee.bb
    Trojan.Win32.Fregee.az
    Packed.Win32.Krap.ar
    Backdoor.Win32.Sinowal.gif

It said it quarantined them all.

The machine wouldnt let me go into safemode using F8, so i did another deep scan and it came up blank.

I forgot that i could go to safe mode through msconfig (havnt played about with computers for a while lol ), ill do the process again 2mz (its 1am here now...)

How will i know that its clean? That hitman pro you mention on that link? Not heard of that before, ill give it a go.
    Cheers.

First time somethings got through Zonealarm since ive had the full security suite (a few years now!), bit dissapointed tbh. Why has this slipped through the net? It was up to date, set to check every 30 mins...
