I have ZA (ZoneAlarm version:9.1.007.002 TrueVector version:9.1.007.002
Driver version:9.1.007.002) installed over Kas AV 2010 on Sony Vaio (pentium 1.3m) with win XP Home. It's running nice and clean and crisp but the zlclient cpu usage looks to be way too high and out of my expectation level - it's hogging cpu!!
The zlclient cpu usage when the machine is idle is constantly 20-23% and varies only within that range. So since machine is sitting idle why is this?
At the same time Kas AV (avp.exe??) is drawing zero cpu - as I think it should when machine is idle.
The situation changes little when machine is working, like when browsing, then the zlclient cpu usage can drop to low levels on rare occasion when cpu is consumed by other processes, but it recovers quickly and 99% of the time remains back on its 20-24% level, when as far as I can see it should be doing nothing - or say 1-2%.
I have posted a typical idle screenshot of the task managers processes window here:
please advise - cheers :-)
