    Thumbs down Forcefield not responding

I only bought Forcefield a month ago, and it worked for a week or so, but now clicking the icon on the task bar does nothing. No response at all. The Checkpoint directory and files are still on my hard disk, but they have all disappeared from my main "Programs List" in the Start dialog box. Clicking on the forcefield.exe file puts it on the task bar, but does nothing else.
Have I bought a pup or what??

It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country, without All the Details, without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

What other programs have you installed or upgraded after installing
ForceField, that may be Blocking or Coinflicting with Forcefield?

Thanks for responding. I appreciate your difficulty in trying to help remotely. No, I haven't installed or upgraded anything since this started happening, other than the usual Windows upgrades. There may have been one in the last couple of weeks.
I am running XP Pro with 1.5MB RAM. I had Forcefield for years, and it always ran well with no problems so I am at a loss to understand why, now I have purchased it again, it refuses to continue working now. I am still using the same machine, with the same basic software on it. and no hardware upgrades for some time. Strange! I do regular virus checks most days with Mcafee and also run Spyware Detector each day and AdAware less frequently. I also run System Mechanic most weeks. barry
