Default Bluescreens with Win 7 64bit

    Hi,

I'm new to this forum; sorry if my question has been aswered a thousand times.

I upgraded to Win 7 64bit two weeks ago and started to get frequent BSODīs: sometimes several per hour, some times just a few per day. After days of searching and driver updating etc. the culprit turned out to be - ZoneAlarm Internet Security (paid version). Since the very moment I uninstalled it, I haven't had a single BSOD.

I still have a couple of weeks left of my ZA license, but of coarse I won't renew my subscription as things are now - nor use the program (Windows firewall will do for the moment).

So; is my problem familiar to anyone, does anyone know a solution?

    Kind regards,
    wb

    Thank you, GeorgeV,

I just chatted with them. They were familiar with the problem and encouraged me to try the Extreme suite beta version.

Which I'll now do, hoping for the best.

    Kind regards,

    Thank you for your feedback..

I have the ZA Extreme 9.1.180.000 BETA installed on one of my computers, and it is very stable..

Three precautionairy comments I can offer you is..
1.) I recomend Downloading the new ZAES Beta to your Hard drive and save..

2.) Shutdown or preferably Uninstall your current ZAES and any other 3rd party Security programs before installing the new BETA.

after installing the BETA as Administrator or Adminitrator account..
    Accept the Default settings..

Update Anti-virus Updates, then do a Scan..
    and your good to go..

3.) When a new Official Released version is available after the BETA Testing is Over, You must Uninstall the BETA Test version first..

Report in Problems with this BETA using the BETA Bug Report Form available on the BETA download page..

    Thanks and good Luck..

Yup. Did it, and everything works fine. My only concern right now is that they probably won't be selling the new Official release at the reduced price (49 $) they're selling the current version... So, when I after 60 days uninstall the beta version, I'll probably have to pay pay 79 $ for the official, and I'm not sure I'm prepared to do that...

But I still have 58 days to consider the matter, so why worry today?

    Thank you for your Feedback...

I have no idea if Checkpoint will offer a price break on the Next distributed Release, However any key purchased for 9.1.008.000 is valid for one year
and will work for 9.XX released version of the same Type of ZA?
