Default [Solved] ZA not reporting access & spys.

I have ZA 9.0 loaded on our machine but the Firewall is not reporting any access attempts. Also spyware is not being flagged up.

    Any ideas.

    Exact version of ZA?
Right click the ZA icon near the clock --> About --> copy to clipboard --> paste it here

How do you connect to the internet? Router and modem with NAT capability? Have you checked the results of https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 scan? Which IP is scanned? Is the same that is listed in the ZA firewall? That is?

Spyware flagged? By what? Which spyware? Cookies? Other spyware? Are you running multiple security tools? It will create conflicts....

Sorry but, you need to be more specific otherwise its like shooting in the dark

    ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:9.1.008.000
    TrueVector version:9.1.008.000
    Driver version:9.1.008.000
    Anti-virus engine version:8.0.2.42
    Anti-virus signature DAT file version:1014452544
    AntiSpam version:6.0.0.2383

Cheers Fax & apologies for being so vague,

We connect through a BT Homehub to BT Broadband. The IP scanned is the same IP as listed on ZA firewall. Wer don't have any other security tools running. XP firewall not running.
As for the spyware problem, when we had ZA 7.0 series running we had at least 7 infections found after each weekly scan but 0 viruses.
My previous ZA version was removed with all the ZA applications due to corrupt files. I removed all ZA components & installed this latest version. The previous ZA version on our machine would report intrusions blocked but so far with this version it's reporting 0 intrusions.
    I hope this info helps.

    Hi!
Do you have an IP such as 192.168.X.X? (this is normally the case for BTHub + Broadband) Then its normal you don't receive any firewall logs because its the HUB filtering it (NAT) and not ZA. If you were getting block with ZA 7 then ZA was not configured correctly.

ZA 7 was not detecting 7 infections per week. Just seven cookies per week. Cookies are harmless text files with no security related impacts. You can block cookies with your browser directly. ZA 9 engine was streamlined and focuses on real infections only.

    Hope this helps.
