Default Program to check for Multiple Security installed

    Hi guys,

I have seen mentioned, a program to check for and list security programs installed on a computer. I tested another program and want to remove it, then check for any remnants before installing ZASS latest version.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply, fax.

That one seems to use a rather limited list of av/as applications that it looks for.

I saw another, maybe it wasn't on this forum, that seems more thorough in its search. If I find it, I will post back and let you know.

Any others you can think of?

Why not look through the list in Add/remove?
Or CCleaner will aso list all the installed apps

It is actually quite complete. Not all security software it detects are listed such as ZA or others (via the heuristic option). I am not aware of other trustful multi uninstallers. Never use this tool if you can remove the software with the original unistaller.

How about Revo Uninstaller - click here > http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html

    Freeware and paid Pro versions.

Do you by any chance mean SecurityCheck by screen317?
    http://screen317.changelog.fr/SecurityCheck.exe

Note: if a security program requests permission from dig.exe to access the Internet, allow it to do so.

    Hi!
this tool is developed by Chris Fistonich. Chris is forum moderator and malwarebytes staff. Here for author info and here the official link to the application.
Just to give the author some credit and ensure it is actually a trustful application.
