    Default Two symptoms on ZAP 91.507

    Hello everyone,

    Since I installed a 'zapSetup_91_507_000_en.exe' on Windows XP SP3 (localized in Japanese) for a Dell Dimension XPS Gen2 with 2GB RAMs , I notice that;

    SYMPTOM 1:
    The 'Exceptions' pane for the Windows Firewall exhibts a vsmon (C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\) is interacting with system to accept a remote connection.

    I currently erased the listing for a security concern.

    SYMPTOM 2:
    I am unable to hold an added WgaTray.exe (C:\WINDOWS\system32\) on Programs repertoire after restart the ZAP 91.507. In the previous version, this system wide program is automatically fetched as an entry for the repertoire.

    QUESTION: Are these a common feature for "zapSetup_91_507_000_en.exe" implementation?

    Thank you for your attention.

    No. Not here...

    1. Can't see any added exception
    2. Double click on wgatray added automatically an entry in ZA program control named "Windows Genuine Advantage Notification"

    Hi,

    It is a contravercial issue but I got the answer thanks to you. I am sure a root-kit resource residing in motherboard that calls a set of multiple stealth programs on the kernel and memory addresses hack activities are manipulating them. I have been struggling with various issuees for over 4 years and I think the time seems to has come to raise this to the authorities.

    Regards,

    You may want to get your system inspected by malware experts. Posts your logs at Bleepingcomputer or SpywareHammer
    Most of the time is simpler than it seems... and please only run trusted applications.
