Default choice registration not accurate for java

    Hi,
Each release of Java, even if I have already REGISTERED my choice: accept ; ZoneAlarm ask me one more time what to do with this new version?
So how can I do, to prevent him to ask to me each time?

You didn't tell us which ZA product you are using, but in ZA Internet Security Suite, I go into Program Control-->Programs and find the entry for java. Right-click on it and then select Changes Frequently.

The ZA Help file describes it like this:

How to see fewer of these alerts

Changed Program alerts are always displayed because they require a Allow or Deny response from you. If you are using a program whose checksum changes frequently, you can avoid seeing numerous alerts by having ZoneAlarm security software check the program's file name only. See Adding a program to the programs list.

I'm sorry, that is how Firewall protection works..

each time it detects a change in a file that has access to the internet,
it is designed to alert you that the file has chaged, Zone Alarm has no way of telling if the Change was due to Update or has been infected or corrupted?

However, you can try User Garywa's advice and see if it helps you..
