Default How to completely disable AV/anti-spyware or its update?

    Hi there.
    My first time here too.

Anyway, is there any way to completely disable ZA Security Suite AV/AS functions or at least the update functions?
I use another and better AV for me on my PC. However, ZoneAlarm AV/AS is good for my laptop.

The main reason why I want to disable the AV/AS on my PC is because of the goddamn annoying update notifications. I have turned my AV/AS "Off" but the dam thing still wants me to update it. I'd understand if I had to update it if I switched it "On" after a while, but still.
I'm not the only user of my PC so it's dam annoying to explain others what to do (usually on the phone) since they don't speak English.

Something tells me there is no way to completely shut down Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware, but at least I asked : )

Update notification? Which update notification? There no update notification unless you have ticked an option in the logs and alerts section. Which version are you using? ZASS 9? 9.1? 9.1. 507?

There is no way to completely remove the system drivers dealing with virus and spyware threats by Kaspersky in ZA (they are loaded at low level).

If you want to use another AV you should downgrade to ZAPRO otherwise you may encouter conflicts (behind the scene) and possible corruptions. Note that the ZASS license is not valid in ZAPRO

    Cheers,
