Thread: ZA Browser security download scan not working with Firefox

    Default ZA Browser security download scan not working with Firefox

    I am running Windows 7 (64 bit) with ZA Internet Security v9.1.507. I have two problems that may be inter-related:

    1. Sometimes when I boot the PC up and go into any of the user accounts I have configured, ZA shows an error and when I check, the Firewall has not started. This is v. dangerous as my daughter and wife use the PC, are not PC savvy and so are browsing with no firewall!
    2. In all cases, when I run Firefox (v.3.6.3) and download a file e.g from Gmail, the Browser Security download scan does not work, even with the check box ticked. If I run IE8 (v.8.0.7600) instead then the browser security download scan works perfectly.

    Win 7 may be a bit of a pig but ZA is (after 3 weeks fighting with it) the only programme that I have that isn't working properly

    Help - I have run out of ideas!

    Thanks for the link - while helpful, Tech Support could only help a bit as this looks to be a bug that your development folks are working to fix. Could also be down to Win 7 which is a shocker!
