    Default CFD.exe

I get frequent security alerts for CFD.exe. I'm using ZAPro on my Windows XP, Home Edition 2002, SP3. In your opinion, should I just set this program to allow Access and Server? Thanks for any advice.

Can you post where this file is located (in which folder in your PC)?
Secondly upload the file to www.virustotal.com to check for malware patterns.

    It's located in C:\Program Files\BroadJump\Client Foundation\CFD.exe

In addition to ZAPro, I use Avasti AV, SUPERAntispyware Pro, and Malwarebytes' AntiMalware, and scan frequently.

I checked BroadJump in Windows Explorer and there are beaucoup files and folders in BroadJump.

Thanks for giving this your attention.

I did a Google.exe search for "Broadjump client Foundation" and found several references to "CFD.EXE" being installed by software provided by many "ISP" internet broadband providers..

cfd.exe is a process belonging to a trouble-shooting software from Motive Communications. It enables your broadband provider to offer easy installation and ongoing tech support services to your computer.

Thanks for the info. Instead of trying to remove the program, I think I'm just going to block it for a while with ZAP, and if I have any broadband issues, I can allow later.
