    Default Microsoft applications

Apparently this has been discussed previously as per the sticky, but the post it links to didn't have all the answers I wanted.

Definitively, the latest free version will not prompt on microsoft products? I was able to block IE but if I set it to ask, it just lets it go. So, to be clear, the free version is working as intended this way? Are there any plans at all to change this? Or is the only way to get this kind of protection to buy a paid subscription?

I can't allow microsoft free outbound access on my computer, that can't happen. So I want to be very clear that this is not supported and will not be supported in the free version. Is this true?

    Thank you for your help.

I think that also applies to all versions of 9.1 Zone Alarm..

Thats odd. I have ZA free on another computer and it does challenge internet explorer when set to ask. Maybe its a an older version. Why would they remove functionality like that? I know it did use to challenge internet explorer in the past on this computer as well. Very odd.
