    Default ZAForce be with you, of the trouble with tribbles. part 2

    Using Advance System Care Startup Manager, I find I have 965 entries with 948 of the being:

    ISW=C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\ZAForceField\ForceField.exe" /icon

    pointing the the REGKEY

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Softare\Microsoft\Windows\Curren tVersion\Run

    My first impression that this was due to an attempted hi-jacking.

    With that in mind, I ran SuperAntiSpyware, AVG and Avast. Since none of these programs pointed to major virus issues, I used Advanced System Care, TweakNow Reg Cleaner and CCleaner to take care of any errant registry issues.

    When I started, I had about 220 of these files in start up, so my efforts have resulted in a four-fold increase of these files.

    In the spirit of being thorough, I have included a freshly run HJT and posted the result.

    **snip**

    Any assistance that can be offered would be appreciated.

    Sorry we do not analyse hijack logs here.

    So...in your professional opinion this is a hijack/malware thing?

    No idea... sorry

    To be honest I have not understood the issue of XXX entries by "Advance System Care Startup Manager" (?). You may need to ask the developers of that tool instead.
