Default Zone Alarm Extreme keylogger and BSOD

    Hi All,

I've just renewed ZoneAlarm and in the process "upgraded" to Zone Alarm Extreme.

Trouble seems to be with the keylogger. When switched on I get a BSOD (0x000000c9 - icsak.sys) whenever I hit a key. No problems if the keylogger is switched off.

    System info :
    ASUS A7V600-X ACPI (v1009)
    1 GB RAM
    AMD Sempron 3000+ 2GHz

    Windows XP (SP3)

    Zone Alarm Extreme v9.1.507.000
    Zone Alarm Browser Security v1.5.149.0

    Any ideas chaps.

    Cheers,
    Andy.

    Hi!
please follow up with support. the ICSAK.SYS is the anti-key logger driver, which serves as a protection module protecting against kernel-mode keyloggers.

You may have installed other software that hook at kernel level that conflicts with the driver. The Kernel is VERY sensitive to multiple calls. This may be also due to rootkits based malware that has modified your kernel access.

    Cheers,
