    Default [SOLVED] ZoneAlarm Extreme Update and Scan?

    Is there a special setting in ZoneAlarm Extreme perhaps for Update and Scan, as I have been unable to get the Update or Scan pop-up window to come up when those options are activated, although there seems to be activity just no pop-up window showing it?

    Hi!
    could you please give more details? Version of ZA used? Which options have you activated? Updates and scan are recorded in the log section of your ZA.

    The different ZA icons that will show an update or a scanning are indicated here:

    Version: ZAX 9, Options: Firewall, Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware, Browser, Email, Identity, all scans, updating...
    Then when I attempt to Scan I get the message that I tried to Scan while ZAX was attempting to Update, otherwise though no Update or Scan pop-up windows and I have already installed/uninstalled to no avail...

    Hmm, turned ZAX off and then on and now it works...interesting, perhaps it was updating/configuring itself to my system I guess, as this is a new install and key as I used to use ZASS and have upgraded to ZAX however this is a clean install...

    Apparently from my previous post...not sure what you were lost about...but anyway like I said probably just the initial setup/update is perhaps why it seemed not to work at first.
