Default zonealarm customized web search removal

I had the latest version of the free firewall. I made the mistake of installing the tool bar with the zonealarm customized web search function.

I hate it and want my old Firefox open in new tab function back.

So I tried uninstalling the toolbar. It is still there.

I tried uninstalling zonealarm. It is still there.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox. It is still there.

I have searched for an answer on how to get rid of this but can not find it.

How do I get this thing off my computer?!?!?!?!?!

You didn't tell us what OS you're running on your PC so here are a couple suggestions.

Try the clean removal tool: http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...load/clean.exe

Depending on your OS, here are manual uninstall instructions:

    Vista: http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...97&action=view

    2000/XP: http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...96&action=view
