Default [RESOLVED] Internet Speed --> conflict with Adaware

I have been a user of ZoneAlarm for over 10 years and I have nevefr felt the need to post. I am disappointed in what was a great product. I have Road Runner DSL with 7.5gig download speed capability and this constant issue with the last 2 builds of Zone alarm is pretty sad. I have been following the forum here about progress on this issue and I do not seem to see any. When is this going to be fixed? Still have no system restore. I have XP SP3 and am running IE6. I have not found anything in the forums that indicates ZA should have issues with this setup. Did I miss something?

    I am running ZASS

All issues I had with ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:9.1.507.000 where resolved with the current version:9.1.603.000

I'm a Firefox/3.6.3 user.Only time I use IE is for Windows updates.I would suggest to upgrade your browser to IE8.More secure than IE6.

I use ForceField (standalone) version with ZASS.Browser Security and Private Browser may open slowly the first time you open them because the protective virtualization file system is being created.Subsequent startups should be normal.Firefox is faster to load then IE8 but not by much on my PC.

    Have a nice Day

Have no other suggestions to address your issue unless other users might want to provide input.

Thanks for the help all. Zach at tech Support had me use msconfig and isolate all non MS services. The issue was a conflict with Adaware which I removed.

I know I need to upgrade my browser as I am starting to have some web page loading issues. I have done some research and IE8 seems to be the worst of the browsers. I will likely switch to Firefox. I am trying to decide which bowser is the least invasive. I am tired of almost all the software today trying to collect data on what I do on my PC and the internet, and then stealing the bandwidth I buy to report what I have been doing. I want to be sure Firefox is the best and does the least or that I can get at what it logs and decide whether that info is being reported. ~snip~
