Default [SOLVED] How to upload a protected file (false pos)?

Hi, I have a file detected by ZA Antivirus and suspect it is a false-positive. However when I try to upload it to VirusTotal for confirmation or to Kaspersky I get the following message..

"You don,t have permission to open this file.
Contact the file owner or administrator to obtain permission"

The file (idtmini1.exe) is in the following folder....
    "C:\SWsetup\SP45044\WDM\vista"

I am logged in as administrator (password protected). I tried altering the permission settings under the properties-security tab of the file with no luck. Also tried turning off UAC also with no luck.
Can anyone tell me what I am missing?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi!
may be a damaged file? Or a malware infection blocking access.
Already tried to boot in SAFE MODE and the log-in in the administrator account?

Thanks Fax, I tried Safe Mode after your suggestion and was able to upload the file to VirusTotal. It seems a FP and it seems to be amended in ZA now.

Thanks once again for your help.
