An Acer laptop does not allow ZAES ver 9.1.507.000 to properly install. The computer came with McAfee internet security suite. OS is Window 7 64 bit.
I have to uninstall ZAES through safe mode to get the computer to work again.
Am reluctant to uninstall McAfee as I don't have the disc with computer. I did turn off McAfee, which made no difference.
ZAES installs up to the point where a reboot is req'd. The reboot gets past the password stage and then freezes.
I have had some advice that there can be a conflict between ZAES and Acer eData security management, but this computer does not have this.
Does anyone have an idea of direction to take please?
