Question Is ZoneAlarm Pro compatible with Linksys E1000 router?

    Hello everyone,

I'm in need of a router. Never had one before. I'm thinking of getting the
    Linksys E1000 ~~SNIP~~

As far as I know, this router comes with some software that needs to be installed. My question is if this software installation will go smoothly and my ZoneAlarm Pro will act perfectly compatible in all this configuration process. Perhaps my ZA Pro will just detect a new network and that's it? No hassles?

    Thanks very much.

I'm Sorry, I have no experience with the Linksys E1000 Router

Here is the Router I use and I know of Five other User with this Router..
Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G Wireless router

Packet Inspection (SPI), packet filtering, MAC…
Wireless-G is the 54Mbps wireless networking standard that's almost five times faster than the widely deployed Wireless-B (802.11b) products found in homes, businesses, and public wireless hotspots around the country - but since they share the same 2.4GHz radio band, Wireless-G devices can also interoperate with existing 11Mbps Wireless-B equipment.
Since both standards are built in, you can protect your investment in existing 802.11b infrastructure, and migrate to the screaming fast Wireless-G standard as your needs grow.

This Router works Great with Zone Alarm for me with my 5 Computers..

Basic Setup is Plug and Play, you will have to Change the Default Factory Password in the Router Setup, and Turn On the WEP Encription..

As far as I know, the E1000 is a step-up version of the WRT54G. So I guess ZoneAlarm Pro should be compatible.
