Default zonealarm extreme security: can't download files

i'm having a problem downloading files while zonealarm extreme security is working. i have the latest version (9.1.603) running on windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. everytime i try to download a file, it always progresses to a random point and just stops abruptly without a warning or an error window afterwhich i check my downloads folder only to find the file i tried to download in that folder totally incomplete. the download just stops short of being completed. no warning, no error message, nothing. honestly i have no clue as to why it's doing this. can somebody please help me correct this issue? i'm tired of having to get rid of incomplete downloads. please help me. thanks.

Assuming you have waited enough at boot to let forcefield to load then it sounds like a bad install.Try to fully remove ZA and reinstall. Use the ZA removal tool.

In case you still not manage to resolve the problem please follow up directly with the official ZA technical support. Link in my signature.
