Standalone Forcefield 126.96.36.199
ZA Pro 9.1.008
I don't really consider this a problem, but just curious why it happens. My PC has a diskette drive that I use at rare times, but for all practical purposes it never has any media in it. I've noticed that when clearing virtual data, Forcefield accesses that floppy drive, which makes a quick sound like it wants to read/write but finds the drive empty of course. I was just curious why it would be doing that. I thought it would only need to clear the temporary files that it has stored in a directory on my main drive. In any case, I've gotten so used to it, that that noise alone sort of serves as feedback and let's me know that Forcefield did clear the virtual data.
A lot of people don't even have diskette drives any more, although they are still quite handy at times. Most people are using USB instead. I have both. But was just curious if anyone with floppy drive is noticing Forcefield accessing it when clearing virt. data. Thanks.
